ECF’s proposals for a 22-storey building comprising 189 flats in Greater Manchester have been given the go-ahead by Salford City Council.
The Hawkins\Brown-designed plans are for one- to three-bedroom homes, 20% of which would be affordable.
The tower forms a part of the wider £1bn Salford Central masterplan, spanning 250 acres with the potential to accommodate up to 1,000 homes, a 390-bedroom hotel and 2.1m sq ft of office space.
ECF is a joint venture between Muse Developments, Legal & General and Homes England. It has been advised by Hannan Associates on planning matters.
