London and Associated Management Services has won consent for a revamp of the 40-year-old Langney Shopping Centre in Eastbourne.
Eastbourne borough council approved plans for a 45,000 sq ft extension at the 194,000 sq ft mall plus improvements to its appearance.
The plans include nine new shops including an anchor store at the eastern end of the centre to mirror the existing Tesco supermarket.
LAMS director David Brown said: “The extension is integral to our vision for the centre, enabling us to improve the retail offering and attract more shoppers and new tenants.”
