Tiger Developments has today won planning permission for its £200m Haymarket project in central
The plans include two hotels, 335,000 sq ft of offices and a mix of leisure uses on the site of the former Morrison Street Goods Yard.
Intercontinental has signed to operate a 192-bed hotel at the scheme, while Travelodge will operate a 245-bed hotel.

Cameron Stott, director at Jones lang LaSalle, which is joint agent for the scheme, added: “This development will be an obvious expansion of the Exchange district and improve the connectivity with Haymarket station.”
The development will now be considered by the Scottish Government for final determination.
Tiger, a subsidiary of the Ireland-based O’Flynn Group, wants to begin work this year, with completion due in 2012, subject to planning.
JLL and Atisreal are jointly advising on the scheme. Richard Murphy, CDA and Sutherland Hussey are the architects.
