Green Properties has started work on a 57,300 sq ft (5,320 sq m) speculative industrial scheme at Trafford Park, Manchester.
The development, at the Redwing Centre, Moseley Road, will be completed by March 2002. It will comprise four units starting at 12,120 sq ft (1,125 sq m). Quoting rents are £56.50 per sq m (£5.25 per sq ft).
The move represents a change of direction for the Anglo-Irish property firm, whose earlier ventures in speculative development at Trafford Park have been larger. Its speculative 100,000 sq ft (9,300 sq m) Electric Park distribution scheme has remained unlet.
Green recently changed letting agents at Electric Park, replacing Fuller Peiser with King Sturge. Lambert Smith Hampton remain joint agents.
