Philip Green plans to sell Top Shop, Top Man and Miss Selfridge to Baugur if he succeeds in buying Arcadia.
He would retain Wallis, Dorothy Perkins and Burton.
He has made a 365p-a-share informal offer which Arcadia has rejected. He was locked in talks last night about whether to press on.
