Greenland goes sky high

Greenland-570pxChina Greenland Group has submitted plans for what would be the tallest residential tower in western Europe.

The HOK-designed scheme includes 869 homes in a 67-storey tower on the site of Hertsmere House in West India Quay, E14.

Despite being the same height as One Canada Square, E14, the Greenland tower will appear smaller given the lower elevation of the ground on which it will be built. Bilfinger GVA advised on planning.
