Sir Philip Green has shut around a fifth of his UK stores in the past two years as his retail empire struggles with tumbling sales and rising property costs.
The Telegraph has already revealed that the former king of the high street is working with advisers at Deloitte on a radical restructuring of Arcadia, which houses the Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge and Evans brands.
The plans could trigger a raft of store closures and potentially thousands of job losses. The tycoon has closed 210 shops, which include standalone stores, double occupancy shops and concessions in the UK since 2016.
