Greenwich Council has approved Fairview New Homes’ proposed scheme, which is set to provide 352 homes and 340 student beds, on the Greenwich Peninsula, SE10.
The plan, approved in line with planner officers’ recommendation, comprises three buildings of eight, 18 and 26 storeys.
The scheme will be 35% affordable across both the homes and the student rooms, in accordance with local and London Plan policies, and include a nursery, light industrial space and self-storage.
The vacant site on Boord Street was previously used as the Evening Standard distribution centre. It is next to Studio 338, a nightclub with a capacity for around 3,000 people.
