The company has signed a new 10-year lease on the 30,715 sq ft building, the sixth letting at Quorum this year.

Fergus Trim, Quorum’s development director, said: “Demand for office space in Newcastle is strengthening, and to attract the national HQ of a FTSE company like Greggs is a real milestone for Quorum.”

Roger Whiteside, chief executive of Greggs, said: “This move is a positive and exciting step for us. Our new office space will ensure the best possible working environment.”

Sanderson Weatherall advised Greggs; Knight Frank and Cushman & Wakefield acted for the landlord.
