Nick Millican has been named as the new chief executive of Greycoat.
The former Rockpoint Group director takes over from Peter Thornton, who will continue at the company as chairman.
Paul Johnston, real estate finance specialist at law firm Reed Smith Richards Butler LLP, has also joined Greycoat.
Finance director Martin Poole and property director Andrew Craven will also stay on, as will all other directors and staff.
Millican said: “I am looking forward to the challenge of working with one of the most experienced and best-known names in the property business with a fantastic reputation and track record for financial innovation, creative management of assets and success in delivery of developments. I intend to bring a fresh approach to the company to drive growth and new business, whilst maintaining Greycoat’s market leadership in central London asset management and development.”
Thornton added: “We are delighted that Nick has decided to join us and we are all looking forward to working with him. He is a much-needed next-generation addition to Greycoat and will add a new dimension to our business going forward. The appointment also provides a good opportunity to split the roles of chairman and CEO.”
