Greystar is planning 10,000 London flats in its portfolio within the next three years after gaining approval for the UK’s largest-ever purpose-built multi-family scheme in Ealing.
It plans to build 1,965 flats on the former GSK and Sunblest bakery site in Greenford.
Mark Allnutt, managing director, UK multifamily at Greystar, said: “There are three or four other deals in the pipeline – which stands currently at 4,500 apartments – and we plan to be at 10,000 apartments under our control within the next three years in London.
“We are here to stay for the long term and provide as much rental housing as we can.”
