Greystar set to sign £200m Manchester PBSA deal

Greystar is in talks with Dominus and Whitbread to forward fund a £200m scheme on One Medlock Street, Manchester.

The site has planning consent for 1,014 student beds, as well as 387,500 sq ft of office space, granted in June last year.

The scheme will replace an existing Premier Inn hotel.

The office element will have capacity for 2,200 people and is expected to contribute £1.6m in business rates each year.

Dominus appointed Savills and Gerald Eve with finding a partner for the scheme in September 2023

The One Medlock Street scheme includes two new buildings, with 13 and 37 storeys.

Features of the scheme include a landscaped pocket park, rain garden, public art and “green streets”. It was designed by Jon Matthews Architects.
