Grosvenor Europe appoints non-executive director

Jonathan Lane has been appointed as a non-executive director of Grosvenor Europe.

The chairman of Morgan Stanley’s EMEA real estate investment, Lane is also a director on Grosvenor’s Liverpool Fund, which owns the Liverpool One shopping centre.

Before this, he was on the UK Government Property Advisory Panel and the Bank of England Commercial Property Forum.

The appointment follows Grosvenor Fund Management becoming Grosvenor Europe on 1 July, marking a gradual shift for the company from UK to continental investment.

Lane has joined Mark Preston, chairman of Grosvenor Europe, and Nick Scarles, the other two non-executive directors on the board.

Preston said: “Jonathan’s experience complements that of our existing directors and given his strong knowledge of the European market place, we hope he will contribute to the strategic guidance of the business as we embark on the next chapter of our development.”
