Grosvenor names ex-Knight Frank boss Elliott as UK chair

Grosvenor has appointed Alistair Elliott, former chair of Knight Frank, as the next chair of its UK property business. He will take the post on 1 January 2025, picking up the role from ex-Lazard managing director Melanie Gee, who has been in the post since April 2021. Elliott has been a non-executive director of Grosvenor Property UK since April 2022. He spent almost four decades at Knight Frank, where he was latterly senior partner and chair. In a social media post about the role, he thanked Gee for her “guidance and support” and added: “I very much look forward to working with [UK chief executive] James Raynor and the executive team on the exciting plans they have for the business.” Photo © Knight Frank
