Grosvenor has appointed Alistair Elliott, former chair of Knight Frank, as the next chair of its UK property business.
He will take the post on 1 January 2025, picking up the role from ex-Lazard managing director Melanie Gee, who has been in the post since April 2021.
Elliott has been a non-executive director of Grosvenor Property UK since April 2022. He spent almost four decades at Knight Frank, where he was latterly senior partner and chair.
In a social media post about the role, he thanked Gee for her “guidance and support” and added: “I very much look forward to working with [UK chief executive] James Raynor and the executive team on the exciting plans they have for the business.”
