Grosvenor sells Mayfair portfolio

Grosvenor has sold a portfolio of four mixed-use properties in Mayfair, W1, for £16.5m.

The long leaseholds for the properties at 31-34 North Row have been purchased by a UK-based private investor.

It is understood that the buyer has bought the site with the aim of turning the class-E office building at 34 North Row, which measures 5,790 sq ft, into its new London headquarters. It was built in 1891.

Totalling 12,367 sq ft, the adjoining buildings offer a combination of retail, office and residential uses.

The site comprises office space at 31, which is the headquarters of London-based private equity firm Risk Capital, plus two triplex flats at 32 and 33 with shops let to William Hill and Mayfair Food Fayre.

Tuatara Real Estate represented the buyer; Savills acted for Grosvenor. Both parties declined to comment.
