Grosvenor has won approval from Westminster council to convert a ground-floor showroom and office space at 39 Brook Street and 22 Avery Row, W1, into a restaurant, café and private members club.
The grade II* listed building, just down the road from Claridge’s, was home to interior design firm Colefax from the 1940s until December 2016 and has been vacant since.
The ground-floor restaurant and café spreading out into a rear courtyard would be open to the public, while the upper three floors would be for club members only.
