Grosvenor is formally seeking buyers for the Hilton Hotel that forms part of its £900m Liverpool One scheme in central Liverpool.
It has instructed CBRE Hotels to find a buyer for the hotel, which is under construction and due to open next year.
The 216-room hotel will be operated by Hilton under a 20-year management agreement.
Edward Skeates, projects director at Grosvenor, said: “The hotel market in Liverpool is experiencing substantial growth and our decision to sell offers an exciting opportunity for investors.”
The building, designed by Squire & Partners, will have 47 apartments on three floors above the 216 bedrooms.
It will be situated on Strand Street at the south side of Liverpool One’s 5-acre, Cesar Pelli-designed park.
Dominic Murray, director at CBRE Hotels, said: “This is a rare opportunity to acquire a significant building in the new Liverpool One.”
