E-commerce giant Groupon’s UK operations are to move to 40,000 sq ft offices at Aldgate Tower, E1.
The firm’s UK business, MyCityDeal, will occupy the 11th and 12th floors, which previously hosted DHL-owned marketing agency Williams Lea Tag.
MyCityDeal will vacate its existing offices at Seal House, EC4.
Since Groupon have taken assignments on DHL’s existing 2015 leases, the firm will pay rent of £49 per sq ft for space under its lease, which runs to June 2025.
However, the deal involves an agreed assignment premium based on an estimated rental value of £55 per sq ft.
