Guyatt in the chair at CPA

CPA-Compulsory-Purchase-AssociationBond Dickinson partner Richard Guyatt has been appointed as the new chair of the Compulsory Purchase Association, a post he will hold for a 12-month term.

Guyatt, a partner in the planning team in the Bristol office, will be responsible for promoting further reform to the CPO system and fostering greater links with government and other professional bodies in land assembly and development.

Created in the early 2002, the CPA has 650 members across the UK, including affiliate bodies in Northern Ireland and Scotland.  It also manages international links through its US counterpart, the International Right of Way Association.
