GVA has appointed Peter O’Brien as its new national head of valuation consultancy.
He joins from JLL, where he was a lead director of the national valuation team, where he had been since 2008.
O’Brien replaces Tim Crossley-Smith, who has led the department for the past 10 years and will remain at GVA, focusing solely on market-facing business.
GVA chief executive Gerry Hughes said: “Peter brings an impressive track record with him and is very highly regarded in the sector, making him ideally positioned to continue building on the team’s successes to date as the GVA business continues to transform and evolve.”
