GVA Grimley adds five to its Leeds office

GVA Grimley has made five appointments to its Leeds office.

The move follows the departure of two staff from its office agency department.

The firm has poached John McNeill from Eddisons in Bradford and Jonathan Galeboth from Donaldsons’ Leeds office.

They replace Colin Davidson, who has returned to his native Newcastle to join DTZ, and James Watts, who left GVA to work for his family’s firm.

Meanwhile Mary Hobbs has joined GVA as a consultant on the planning and regeneration team, focusing mainly on South Yorkshire and Merseyside. Mary was previously with DTZ.

Principal surveyor Kevin Wideman, formerly with Chesterton, joins the management consultancy team, while Richard Green has joined the plant and machinery department of the banking and corporate consultancy division.

Andrew Rodger, partner in charge of the North East at GVA Grimley, said: “These new appointments will further strengthen our Leeds operation and are a visible sign of our determination to maximise market penetration in Yorkshire, Humberside and the North East.”
