GVA Grimley has recruited three agents for its Manchester retail team, as it seeks to replace senior staff who have left over the last year.
The agents appointed are all from Dunlop Heywood Lorenz (DHL) and are:
- Richard Lucas, a partner at DHL
- Andrea Stott, an associate at DHL
- Mike Knowles, a surveyor at DHL
They will cover the North, focusing on in-town retail alongside out-of-town retail associate Charlie Greenhalgh and in-town retail surveyor Claire Eccleston.
The recruitment drive follows dwindling numbers in the office over this year which left just two retail agents. The most recent senior agent to leave was Chris Renshaw, who moved to GL Hearn in October.
The four-strong in-house retail team will report to Birmingham-based Paul Brewer, Grimley’s head of high street retail and shopping centres.
National retail director Chris Mackaness said: “We are trying to build up three main centres for retail in Manchester, Birmingham and London. We plan to take on more people as we increase our number of instructions.”
