GVA Grimley has expanded its Leeds office with the appointment of two senior planners.
Richard Serra is to join the firm’s planning team in Leeds from its London office.
He joined the company in 2001 as a senior planner and was promoted to associate in 2003.
Serra specialises in major planning applications, compulsory purchasing and regeneration schemes.
Before joining GVA Grimley, Serra worked for Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker in London, NAI Fuller Peiser in Sheffield and Tynedale District Council. He is a member of the Compulsory Purchase Association.
Julie Deptford has joined GVA Grimley as a senior planner from Bradford Metropolitan Council where she was a development control officer.
She is a chartered town planner and has five years local authority experience dealing with a diverse range of planning applications, development enquires and appeals.
At GVA Grimley she will advise on planning and development issues ranging from development control advice to feasibility studies for redevelopment of land.
