GVA Grimley makes Vale Bristol and Cardiff chief

GVA Grimley has appointed David Vale as partner in charge for Bristol and Cardiff, replacing Derek Chamberlain who has moved to head the firms London-based project management service.

Vale will combine the role with his existing position as national agency partner and lead partner for a number of clients, including Cable & Wireless.

He has worked for the firm for 26 years and had a seven-year spell in Bristol from 1989 following the merger of JR Eve and Grimley & Son.

Vale said: “I am looking forward to the new challenge of working with the teams in Bristol and Cardiff, encouraging and supporting them in the promotion of their individual business units within GVA Grimleys national framework, as well as building on the significant successes achieved in the region over recent years.”
