GVA hires Woodley as strategic advisory director

GVA has expanded its strategic advisory team with the appointment of Peter Woodley as a director.

Woodley will lead GVA’s strategic advisory platform alongside Laura Stamboulieh and Guy Brett, both of whom joined GVA this year.

He has worked in both the private and public sectors during more than 30 years in property, with recent positions including Plymouth City Council, where he coordinated its One Public Estate programme, and South Somerset District Council.

Previously, he was also a director at BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he set up and led the South West and south Wales public sector consulting team.

Stamboulieh said: “Peter joins us at an important stage in the growth of GVA’s strategic advisory platform, and brings important first-hand experience of local authorities, one of the six core sectors the team advises.

“The commercial expertise that Peter has accumulated from his private sector experience will also be invaluable to our public sector clients. In addition to his insight into local authorities, he also has an excellent understanding of the wider public sector, especially health, and we look forward to working with him.”
