GVA Grimley is looking for surveyors to join its investment department in Birmingham following the departure of Paul Jones, the latest member of the team to leave.
Hot on the heels of the departure of partner Mark Billingham, Jones is moving to rival Richard Ellis and will join its investment team as principle surveyor.
In a surprise move, Billingham left GVA Grimley two months ago to form development company Birmingham Mailbox with ex-Brindleyplace director Alan Chatham.
“We will be looking for replacements,” Malcolm Gloster, GVA Grimley’s Regional Senior Partner in the Midlands told EGi that he was now looking for replacements . However, he would not confirm at what level and in what number GVA would be recruiting.
In a market which has seen more than its fair share of arrivals and departure as the major property consultancies, Richard Ellis has made its second high profile recruitment. Two weeks ago, it was revealed that Ross Bendall is leaving Jones Lang Wootton to join RE’s office agency team.
Jones will work with Stephen Benson and Simon Robinson, who are both directors of RE’s Midlands investment team.
