GVA seeks offers for £6m Man City club shop

GVA Grimley has been appointed to sell a retail warehouse adjacent to the City of Manchester stadium occupied by Manchester City FC’s club shop.

The seller, a group of local investors called Reebox City Properties, is inviting offers of around £5.96m, reflecting a net initial yield of 7%.

David Winterbottom, investment director at GVA Grimley, said: “The City Store is a unique opportunity for a high-profile Manchester City supporter to own an important piece of the club, or for investors with a keen interest in the sport.”

The 21,000 sq ft unit is let to the football club on a 25-year lease, expiring in 2029 and currently generates £441,000 pa.
