GVA to advise on Edinburgh council portfolio

Edinburgh council has appointed GVA Grimley to advise on its property portfolio.

The council owns properties across the city including the City Chambers, Lothian Chambers buildings on the Royal Mile and its own headquarters building at Waverley Court.

GVA along with three local property firms will advise the council over a four-year period on its property strategy.

Keith Aitken, regional senior director for GVA Grimley, said: “This is a fantastic win for GVA Grimley and one that will draw on our strengths across all of our business divisions.

Edinburgh council has been an important client of ours for many years and we are delighted to have been given the opportunity to further our relationship.”
