The University of Oxford has appointed GVA to produce a strategy aimed at maximising the potential of its 6.5m sq ft property portfolio.
GVA will work with the University of Oxford Estates Directorate to produce an estate strategy for its circa 270 buildings.
The strategy will include benchmarking the university against international universities to ensure the estate is efficiently run, and to make the most of land use in the face of funding pressures.
Gerry Hughes, senior director at GVA, said: “As with all our education clients in the current climate, a principal issue for the university is how to use its estates assets creatively in continuing to meet academic requirements.”
