Developer Sager Group is to open a 47,000 sq ft gym run by Third Space at its Islington Square, N1, development.
The £400m redevelopment of the North London Royal Mail Centre off Upper Street, undertaken with Cain Hoy, will provide 263 homes alongside 108 serviced flats, shops and leisure facilities.
The Third Space gym will include a gymnasium, training space, two swimming pools, a medical and nutritional suite, spa and steam room.
Fit out will begin in early 2017.
Sager Group chief executive Giris Rabinovitch said: “Third Space is an important anchor tenant for Islington Square and another step in delivering our vision of creating a vibrant destination in the heart of Islington.
“Islington Square will provide 175,852 sq ft of high quality retail/commercial facilities and already a third of this has been signed up to anchor tenants.”
