Healey & Baker has replaced DTZ Debenham Thorpe as joint letting agent with Cooke & Arkwright on Grosvenor Waterside’s flagship office scheme, Capital Waterside, in Cardiff Bay.
Agents including Hillier Parker, Knight Frank (which has recently opened its first office in the Welsh capital) and Jones Lang Wootton pitched for the instruction. The scheme has secured a number of high-profile occupiers including the proposed National Assembly for Wales and US inward investor Bank One.
Current letting agents DTZ Debenham Thorpe and Cooke & Arkwright pitched for the account. But a spokesperson for Grosvenor Waterside confirmed that C&A will be joined by Healey & Baker as letting agent on the development. There is potential for over 46,450 sq m (500,000 sq ft) of new offices at the site.
Following recent lettings to Regus and Knight Frank, the 9,290 sq m (100,000 sq ft) speculative Scott Harbour office scheme is now fully let. Grosvenor is now believed to be considering a new phase of speculative development of up to 13,935 sq m (150,000 sq ft).
