Hackney council intends to revamp 44 shop fronts in the east London town centre to improve the area’s retail offer.
Adams & Sutherland-designed shop fronts will replace outdated ones on Mare Street, the Narroway and Clarence Road.
Improvements will be part funded by the council and the Mayor of London Boris Johnson.
The makeover will be completed in phases between September and November.
