Hadley Property Group and Clarion Housing Group have received planning permission for 568 flats at the site of a former Homebase in Goodmayes, in Ilford.
Redbridge Council’s planning committee unanimously backed plans in a decision on 22 July.
The scheme is the first in a strategic partnership between Hadley and Clarion, targeting residential development in urban centres.
