Hall Engineering is opening a £17.5m greenfield factory in Gloucestershire in a joint venture with Takao Kinzoku Kogyu. It is hoped the project will encourage car manufacturers to outsource body shell production. It will initially supply body components to Honda’s Swindon factory.
It also plans to build a new wire factory in Halifax, West Yorkshire with the remainder of a its £25.7m rights issue launched yesterday.
