Hamleys plans to carry on expanding next year under new owner Groupe Ludendo.
The toy retailer opened an outlet in Cardiff, South Wales, last month. It has a total of 20 stores outside of the UK and Ireland. Elsewhere, Mulberry is building a second factory, in Somerset. The Guardian says the luxury handbag maker plans to open a further 17-20 stores this financial year. It does not specify how many, if any, will be in the UK.
