Hammerson has appointed Henderson’s chief executive Andrew Formica as a non-executive director.
Formica, who has been a fund manager since 1993, was a joint managing director of Henderson’s investment management business and an equity fund manager before being appointed chief executive.
He takes the position with immediate effect.
Other moves at the company include the appointment of Pierre Bouchut as chairman of the audit committee and the departure of Jacques Espinasse from his roles as a non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee.
These changes will take effect at the AGM on 25 April 2016.
