Hammerson has strengthened its Irish team with the appointment of Simon Betty as retail director for Ireland.
The appointment follows Hammerson’s successful bid alongside Allianz for the Project Jewel portfolio in Dublin.
Betty is currently the director of corporate development in London and will relocate to Dublin to head a new office for Hammerson.
He started with Hammerson in 2006 and has worked across corporate finance and various strategic roles including the realignment of the business as a retail specialist.
He has previous experience of major property projects including the establishment of the new headquarters in King’s Cross.
