Hammerson has confirmed its letting of 75,350 sq ft to agent DTZ at its 125 Old Broad Street development in the City of London.

The letting, revealed by EG last summer will see DTZ take space across levels 1-5 of the building at £53.50 per sq ft on a 20-year lease.

The annual rent is £4m.

Hammerson and its joint venture partners GE Capital and Bank of Ireland will pay DTZ £11.7m as a contribution toward fit-out and lease surrender costs in lieu of a rent free period.

125 Old Broad Street is now  32% let following the earlier letting of 33,370 sq ft on levels 13-15 of the building to international law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel. Turnbull and Asser has also signed a lease to occupy a 4,305 sq ft shop.

Completion of the building, which provides 320,000 sq ft of prime office accommodation over 26 floors, is scheduled for May 2008.

CBRE and Strutt & Parker acted for Hammerson; DTZ represented itself.
