Hansteen has hired Jim Clarke, former group chief financial officer of Countrywide, as a non-executive director.
He will replace Rebecca Worthington on Hansteen’s board and will also chair the audit committee.
Worthington, who is joining British Land as a non-executive, is to step down on 20 March. Clarke will start in his new role on 27 February.
Mel Eggleton, chairman of Hansteen, said: “Clarke has a wealth of experience from which I am sure we will derive great benefit.
“On behalf of the directors, I would like to thank Rebecca for her exceptional contribution to Hansteen over the past four years, and we wish her well in her new non-executive role with British Land.”
