Hansteen has appointed Margaret Young and David Rough as independent non-executive directors.
They will replace Richard Cotton, who is stepping down as a non-executive director of the REIT at the end of the month.
Young is an investment banker and currently serves on the board of BlackRock Group as a non-executive director and was previously executive chairman of Cattles, a listed consumer finance company.
Rough was previously group director of investments at Legal & General, chair of the remuneration committee at Land Securities and is currently a non-executive director of John Laing Group.
James Hambro, chairman of Hansteen, said: “I am delighted that Margaret and David are joining the board. They both have a wealth of experience on the boards of a broad range of both listed and unlisted companies, from which we will derive great benefit.
“On behalf of the directors, I would like to thank Richard for his exceptional contribution to Hansteen over the past five years, a period during which it has grown rapidly, and we wish him well for the future.”
