Hansteen non-executive director to leave board

Hansteen non-executive director Margaret Young is to step down after three years with the industrial investor.

Young said that given the “successful disposal of some large portfolio during the past 18 months, the company is now much smaller and I feel it is appropriate to step down and concentrate on my other non-executive roles”.

Hansteen appointed Young as an independent non-executive director in 2015.

Her background is in investment banking. She also serves on the board of BlackRock Group as a non-executive director and was previously executive chairman of Cattles, a listed consumer finance company.

The move takes affect from 31 December 2018.
