Harcourt Square phase two approved

approval-stamp-generic-THUMB.jpegHibernia REIT has received planning permission by Dublin’s An Bord Pleanála for phase two of the redevelopment of Harcourt Square in the city.

Hibernia had previously received permission for the 142,500 sq ft phase two from Dublin City Council, but the approval was subject to one appeal.

Combined with Phase 1, which was granted planning at the end of 2015, Hibernia now has full planning permission for up to 276,500 sq ft f new offices and ancillary accommodation on the 1.9-acre site.

Kevin Nowlan, chief executive officer of Hibernia, said: “This is an important step in our plans to deliver nearly 280,000 sq ft of new offices in a prime central Dublin location, just two minutes’ walk from St Stephen’s Green.”
