CBRE has appointed Ian Hare from BNP Paribas Real Estate as a director in its out-of-town retail team.
Hare will focus on out-of-town retail agency and development.
He will split his time between CBRE’s London and Leeds offices.
Hare has been at BNP Paribas – where he was based in Leeds – for more than six years.
Hare’s appointment comes after CBRE hired Harvey Spack Field’s Karl Norman in January to lead its out-of-town retail agency team. He will be a senior director and head the division with director Matt McCue.
Malcolm Dalgleish, chairman, EMEA retail at CBRE, said: “We are delighted Ian is joining the out-of-town retail team to further strengthen national coverage. He has nearly 15 years experience in the sector.”
A BNP Paribas Real Estate spokesman said: “We thank Ian and wish him well for the future. Charles Hill and Lucy Bradley from our Leeds retail agency business will continue to serve clients to the highest level. As part of our UK development plan we will continue to expand our agency teams across the country.”
