Hargreaves Lansdown is understood to have suggested that Neil Woodford considers splitting his stricken investment fund in two to help unlock some of investors’ trapped money.
Chris Hill, chief executive of Hargreaves, said in an update on the investment platform that the company has “urged Woodford to consider alternative ways to release capital so that investors can get access to their money as soon as possible, while balancing the need to get a fair price for assets”.
