Bay Design Limited, the group that has emerged from Alexon Group’s failed fashion chain Bay Trading, has appointed Harper Dennis Hobbs to advise and manage lease negotiations on its stores.
Earlier this month, fashion wholesaler and retailer Rinku Group bought 45 Bay Trading shops and 85 concessions, together with its stock and intellectual property.
The remainder of Bay Trading’s 175 shops will close.
Rinku, a concession-based business, also operates brands including Tigi-Wear, Viz-a-Viz and iZ.
Alexon Group placed Epcoscan, the subsidiary that traded as Bay Trading, into administration on 24 April following financial losses and the withdrawal of credit insurance.
