Hartnell Taylor Cook profits rise 12%

HTC-logo-THUMBRegional agent Hartnell Taylor Cook has increased profits 12% to £1.97m according to its annual accounts.

The private agency specialising in the South West had a turnover in excess of £6.3m over the year, up 13% from £5.5m at the end of April 2014.

The group performed well in the Bristol office sector, with involvement in the disposal of the largest office deal in the city this year. In addition, the investment agency side of the business grew its reach and was involved in more than £100m of transactions in the region.

Staff costs grew slightly over the financial year to £2.2m from £2.03m.

Hartnell Taylor Cook managing partner Stuart Howell said: “The improvement in our figures not only reflects the strong market but as an independent partnership competing against the global practices, it is also down to the staff at Hartnell Taylor Cook. We are looking forward to another record year this year and looking to expand the business in response over the next 12 months.”
