Entrepreneur Harvey Soning and KPMG former vice-chairman Derek Zissman have bought move management specialist InsideJOB for a “seven-figure sum”.
InsideJOB provides a range of relocation services for organisations, from moving individual members of staff to major reorganisations.
Soning said the acquisition was a “significant strategic step” complementing its James Andrew International real estate agency and Templewood Group, security and cleaning services provider businesses.
Zissman was a co-founding partner of KPMG’s private equity groups in London and New York.
InsideJOB has provided relocation services to a large number of major UK public and private sector organisations such as Alfred McAlpine, Ascot Racecourse, Bentley Motors, British Airways PLC, Friends Provident Management Services Ltd, Network Rail, NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency, Logica, Toyota Financial Services, Vodafone Group Services Ltd, and a range of local authorities.
Harvey Soning said: “Moving offices is a stressful event with significant risk management issues for any organisation; it has to be perfect, the first time. InsideJOB has a superb reputation and I am very excited about working with the team to maximise the full potential of this business.”
