Harworth Group has bulked out its board, choosing its next chief operating officer and creating the new role of chief investment officer – with both posts going to former Manchester Airport Group directors.
Andrew Blackshaw has taken the reins from outgoing chief operating officer Ian Ball, who has worked at the company since 2014 and been COO since April 2019.
Blackshaw joined the company in January as interim director of corporate strategy, moving from Manchester Airport Group Investment Assets.
Jonathan Haigh has been named the company’s first investment officer. He has been working with Harworth as a consultant for the last six months, and will now oversee the group’s income generation portfolio as well as work on acquisitions and direct developments. He was also previously at Manchester Airport Group, working in the property division.
