Harworth Estates has begun the construction of Barnsley’s largest commercial development.
The Helix project is a 75,000 sq ft manufacturing and logistics warehouse in Harworth’s Gateway 36 development.
The development will receive a £2.7m loan from Sheffield City Region and the Joint European Support for Sustainable Investment in City Areas (JESSICA) fund.
This is the largest speculative development in the area for a number of years, the company said.
