Haslemere Estates has prelet 140 Fenchurch Street, London EC3 to AXA Global Risks (UK).
The 2,322 sq m (25,000 sq ft) building is currently undergoing a refurbishment with completion scheduled for the middle of next month. AXA has taken a new 15-year lease with a rent-free period of six months. It is paying a rent of £471 per sq m (£43.75 per sq ft.)
Haslemere has also prelet a 111 sq m (1,200 sq ft) ground floor retail unit at the building to Thomas Pink. The shirt maker is paying £75,000 pa on a 15-year lease.
